"Lamb Stuffed Grape Leaves": AromaCucina
If you happen to have a grapevine handy, pick some young tender leaves, run out and get some ground lamb and lemons, and then follow this amazing recipe. In no time at all you'll feel like Zorba the Greek...or sorta...Get back to me on that, OK?

"Cous Cous Sicilian Style": AromaCucina
Warning: this is one wacky blog post. And to be Sicilian you must be a bit naughty...
Think sexy Palermo on a sizzling summer night where the ragazzi strut their stuff: 'passagiata' before dinner. The women wearing next to nothing and always in their 'tacca alta' (stilettos). The guys even more so, tight everything and always the hair just so. Meanwhile, the nonas sit and keep vigil, making sure their grandchildren behave properly. In Palermo, during passagiata, there is a very fine line between proper behavior and downright lust! Once the parade is over, it's dinner time, and cous cous helps chill the heat...or so they say.

"First Pesto of the Season": AromaCucina
OK, so what is it about a whimper that works? Well, yesterday in my case, it's when you discover there's no pasta in the house. And no proper Italian home should be without pasta...EVER! So what happens then? My Wonder Woman whips up some homemade fresh pasta...and what's even better than that? Fresh pesto! The first of the season. Whatta woman! Brava!
