Think sexy Palermo on a sizzling summer night where the ragazzi strut their stuff: 'passagiata' before dinner. The women wearing next to nothing and always in their 'tacca alta' (stilettos). The guys even more so, tight everything and always the hair just so. Meanwhile, the nonas sit and keep vigil, making sure their grandchildren behave properly. In Palermo, during passagiata, there is a very fine line between proper behavior and downright lust! Once the parade is over, it's dinner time, and cous cous helps chill the heat...or so they say.
